Selling your house?

Maximise the market value of your property
Increase the appeal of your house to ensure the fastest sale at the best price

Stage your home to sell

First impressions count and nowhere more than in the business of selling your house.

The UK housing market is increasingly competitive and presenting your property at its best is essential to ensure a speedy and lucrative sale. It is often difficult to view your house through the eyes of a prospective buyer. A professionals’ objective opinion will ensure that your property appeals to the widest audience.

In today’s time-poor society, potential buyers want to see a home they can move into immediately. The thought that they might have to replace a bathroom, kitchen or carpet could make them reject your property.

As the vendor, you need to maximise the appeal of your property prior to any viewing by staging or ‘dressing’ it to it’s best. The process is simple and can be quite inexpensive, sometimes it can just be a matter of rearranging furniture to better show off a room.

If you are thinking of selling your home, call now and give your property the chance to stand out from the crowd!

Did you know?
Kerbside appeal is as important to a viewer as your interior décor
A viewer will decide within 20 seconds of entering your home if he/she wants to buy it
Spending just £500 on new flooring in your home can add up to £5,000 to it’s market value
On average a buyer will view 19 properties before making their final choice. Your property needs to make a lasting impression
When selling your home the two most important rooms to the viewers are the kitchen and bathroom

Case study

A typical unused guest room had become a dumping ground. Once the room was de-cluttered and rearranged, a fresh coat of paint was applied. New curtains and fresh bedlinen created the desirable bedroom buyers are looking for.

To create a feeling of space and light in this small, cluttered study, the dark carpet was replaced with a lighter, neutral shade. The walls were repainted and the cluttered bookshelf replaced by an inviting easy chair in a complimentary colour.

The HomeStyle Service

Initial Consultation

Each area of the property will be assessed during this first visit of approx. 1.5 hours. The vendor will receive a detailed written report giving suggestions of how to improve the presentation of the property, as well as product ideas and approximate costings.

Project Assistance

The vendor pays on an hourly basis for as much assistance as he/she needs in preparing their property for sale. This can include anything from product choices to the engagement of contractors.

Project Management

HomeStyle can manage the entire project for any vendor who is absent or simply too short of time. This service can be paid as a percentage of the total project cost or as an hourly fee.

Final Touches

Just before the viewings commence HomeStyle returns for the final visit to make any minor adjustments and add the all-important special touches that will really make -the property shine.
