When did you start at Ashington Page?
I officially started with Ashington Page the last week of the 7th October 2017, but have been doing the odd day in the office to help me to learn the ropes for a few weeks during September.
What attracted you to work at Ashington Page?
Like many people, I have a great interest in property and have used Ashington Page to sell my previous property in Beaconsfield, so had a knowledge of the company and know Gareth because of that. I was also looking to return to work on a part-time basis now that my youngest daughter has left for University.
What does your role entail?
My job is fundamentally to facilitate viewings on a Saturday which is usually the busiest day of the week for viewings. It also involves manning the phones in the office and booking appointments, as well as various administrative jobs that go with this. It is never dull!
Apart from being an estate agent, do you have any other skills that Ashington Page doesn’t know about?
In terms of skills outside of work, in a previous life I was a film editor for the BBC! Not sure if that’s a skill I will ever use again.
When you were young, what did you want to do when you grew up?
When I was young I wanted to be an Air Stewardess, but developed a dislike of flying (it didn’t last), but this temporarily scuppered my ambitions in this area.
When you’re not working, what do you enjoy doing?
In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog, going to the gym and catching up with friends.
What makes you laugh?
Having a ‘banta’ with my kids makes me laugh.
